Accessibility statement

Chronik is built to be operable with a keyboard and readable with a screen reader. This page is short because it says only what we can actually stand behind — a long statement nobody has audited promises more than it delivers.

What we do

• The interface is built from one shared component library. Semantics, focus order and contrast that are right there are right everywhere, rather than being decided again on each page.
• Color is never the only carrier of information. Anything distinguished by color also carries text or an icon.
• Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard, and the focus stays visible.
• Images in release notes keep the alternative text their authors wrote.

What we do not claim

We have not had a formal conformance assessment carried out against WCAG or EN 301 549. This is therefore explicitly not an accessibility statement in the sense of the rules that bind public sector bodies — it is a description of what we hold ourselves to.
